At ADR-SRI, we are committed to fostering peace, dialogue, and constructive approaches to conflict management. Candida Anninyuamlie Apeck

Candida Anninyuamlie Apeck : An educator and researcher whose specializations are in music education, African music and ethnomusicology. With two decades of teaching experience in both basic and tertiary education, Candida has worked to bridge the gap between academic theory and classroom practice. She is pursuing a Master of Philosophy degree in African music and ethnomusicology at the Institute of African Studies at the University of Ghana, she holds a Master’s degree in music education and research and a Bachelor’s degree in music education and African music from the University of Education, Winneba respectively. Her research interest are music, culture and education. Candida’s current research focuses on examining dispartities music education curricula for colleges of education and basic schools in Ghana: Towards systematization, Continuity and Progression. Outside academia, Candida is involved with organizations in engaging teachers in the classroom by helping them to understand the need to integrate technology and play-base activities in classroom learning. This is to promote inclusive education through the outlined competencies in the curriculum in all subjects including music.
